Following hard on the success of ‘Murdered to Death’ in October 2022, Peterborough Playgoers have selected the sequel, “Secondary Cause of Death” as their May production.
If you thought Pratt’s introduction in the first play was funny, he surpasses himself in this second one!
It’s now 1939 and war clouds are gathering over Europe. Having inherited Bagshot House, Colonel Charles Craddock has turned it into a hotel for the discerning visitor. Soon Inspector Pratt arrives once again bearing grim news for the Colonel.
But that’s just the beginning. When Joan Maple’s sister Cynthia arrives to stage a murder mystery evening, it’s not long before Pratt’s visit turns into a chaotic nightmare for everyone involved, and his use of the English language becomes even more bizarre!!
With Calvin Lawrence and David Edwards reprising their roles of the Inspector and the Colonel respectively, this hilarious play will provide a night of laughter and fun to cheer you up in these trying times!
It is on in the Key Studio from Tuesday 16th May through to Saturday 20th May 2023 with evening performances at 7.45pm and a matinee on the Saturday at 2.45pm, and tickets are £15 plus a £2 booking fee.
