Switch Festival – lighting up Peterborough’s talent!

Spend a night at the theatre with the brightest new talent in Peterborough. Four short shows, one evening, a rollercoaster ride of musicals, comedy and moving theatre.

Switch Festival will showcase excerpts from four brand new shows, made by Peterborough’s best up and coming writers, performers, directors and musicians.

Featuring pieces by Kevey Bow, Yasmin Gibson, Rae Nase, and George Lacey and Richard Seaman.

The four shows in Switch Festival include: a monologue exploring an overactive mind, a comedy about action movie stereotypes, a moving piece combining spoken word and memories of leaving home, and a dark musical version of Hansel and Gretel.

The five Switch artists were selected as part of Lamphouse Theatre’s Switch Programme, supporting early-career artists to create their first piece of professional work. Each sharing will last approximately 20 minutes.
