Join us at The Key Theatre Peterborough for a heart-pounding, laughter-infused production brought to life by the talented students of the ‘Acting for Stage and Screen BA(Hons)’ and ‘Performing Arts BA(Hons)’ from University Centre Peterborough (UCP). Get ready for a night of swashbuckling fun that’s perfect for the whole family!

In the heart of Sherwood Forest, a hero emerges to champion the cause of the downtrodden and fight against the ruthless powers that be. England is in dire straits – the people are poor, hungry, and oppressed while the ruling classes revel in excess. With King Richard the Lionheart away on his Crusade, England is in need of a saviour.

“Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood” is a thrilling tale that unfolds with a perfect blend of thrills, romance, and laughter. Join Robin Hood, the people’s hero, as he is joined by friends Little John, Maid Marian, and Friar Tuck as he takes on the Wicked Prince John, the conniving sir Guy of Gisborne, and the Bumbling Sheriff of Nottingham and brings justice, merriment, and a bit of mischief to the stage.

Prepare to be on the edge of your seat as the adventure unfolds, filled with humour, romance, and excitement as come along with us on a magical journey into the heart of Sherwood Forest – where heroes are made, villains are thwarted, and laughter echoes through the trees!

This Production of ‘Sherwood: The Adventures of Robin Hood’ is part of our wider UCP at The Key Student Showcase event which combines students from Acting, Creative Writing, Digital Arts, and Media in a two day extravaganza of fun and exciting creative work, installations, presentations, and performances.
