We are delighted to present for our Christmas concert the multi-award-winning jazz vocalist, lyricist and producer, Georgia Mancio, who is celebrating  her 25th anniversary in music, with a series of concerts throughout the year. A supreme storyteller and formidable force on today’s scene, Georgia creates work of beauty and bite. Her copious industry acknowledgements include consecutive wins at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards: Best Vocalist (2021) and Best Album (‘Finding Home’ with Kate Williams’ Four Plus Three, 2020), and several nominations at the Jazz FM, British Jazz and Urban Music Awards. Her revered partnership with Grammy-winning pianist/composer, Alan Broadbent, has yielded over 40 co-written works (many published in their book, ’The Songs of Alan Broadbent and Georgia Mancio’); three globally acclaimed albums (‘Quiet Is The Star’, ‘Songbook’ and ‘A Story Left Untold’); and performances across Europe and the US, including Ronnie Scott’s and Jazz at Lincoln Center (NYC). Other credits include: Liane Carroll, Ian Shaw, BBC Proms (2019), Pat Metheny (lyric approval), Bobby McFerrin and her own festivals ReVoice! and Hang. A joyously authentic artist, Georgia’s invoking performances, along with her great trio, connect deeply with her audiences and linger long in the mind. The trio features the superb flautist and pianist, Gareth Lockrane together with top bassist Andrew Cleyndert and the great Dave Ohm on drums.
