At Landmark Theatres, your safety and security are our top priorities. We have a number of robust measures in place to ensure the wellbeing of everyone who visits or works in our venues.
These safety protocols are developed in close collaboration with local police and security services, including counter-terrorism officers, local authorities and our wider theatre network. Together, we ensure that all our procedures remain current, thorough, and in line with best practice.
Visible security measures you may notice during your visit include:
-
Bag searches on arrival
-
Ticket checks, including when re-entering the venue
-
Regular security patrols by trained personnel
For the safety and comfort of everyone visiting our theatres, we may carry out bag checks and other security checks on entry. We ask all visitors to cooperate respectfully with our Front of House & Security teams.
Any comments, jokes or statements referring to bombs, explosives, weapons, threats or acts of violence will be taken seriously. Depending on the circumstances, our venues reserve the right to refuse entry, remove the individual from the premises, cancel tickets without refund, and/or report the matter to the police.
These checks are in place to help keep our audiences, visiting companies, volunteers and colleagues safe. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
To help us keep everyone safe, please only bring small bags that can fit comfortably under your seat. For safety reasons, we are unable to permit large bags or suitcases exceeding 40 x 25 x 25 cm.
Additional security measures
Beyond what you’ll see during your visit, we also have a number of discreet safety procedures in place. These include CCTV monitoring throughout our buildings, ongoing security reviews, and regular staff briefings and training to ensure preparedness at all times.
If you see something, say something
We ask all visitors to remain vigilant. If you see anything unusual or suspicious, whether inside or outside the venue, please speak to a member of our team immediately.
