Trained at Guildhall over 50 years ago. Works extensively in theatre, television, and radio. Favourite stage credits include: The Vortex, Irma La Douce, Romeo & Juliet, Julius Caesar, Candida, Feston. TV includes Holby City, Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Doctors and, famously, Grange Hill’s art teacher for 7 years.

Benji has trodden the boards for over 40 years, spanning many genres and places. Among others, he was principal comic in the Sheffield Crucible panto in 1989; Santa in Lapland 2004; a one man show about Scottish history at the Edinburgh Festival in 2002-3; and Billy Budd at the Royal Opera House 2019.

Hetty is an Oxford-based actor whose theatre credits include: Pandora & other roles in The Serpent’s Tooth, Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk, Ruby Rouge in The Curious Case of Lady Fowler, Puck in The Fairy Queen. Other credits include Sister in Boxed, CK for Oxfordshire Mind, and Judge for SeerGrills. Hetty trained at Birminaham School of Acting.

Lekha Desai Morrison is an award-winning writer whose work has been endorsed by winning competitions and having her plays performed in various venues in the UK.

She has also had plays broadcast on Radio 4. She is known for tackling difficult subjects with humour and compassion. 

Her play Misfits was a finalist in the Asian Media Awards and her play Myles and Me, a one woman show about multiple sclerosis has been performed in many venues by an actress who lives with MS. Tums, Bums and Meat Samosas was nominated in Chasing the Rainbow radio award.

Lekha is passionate about looking after the natural world. Two of her most recent plays tackled pressing environmental issues.

When not writing she manages her own consultancy business, is a keen gardener, and runs for fun.

Tristan Jackson-Pate trained initially as an actor at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. He now produces work primarily for young audiences as a writer, director and composer. He is Artistic Director for the Award Winning People’s Theatre Collective in Banbury, and an Associate Artist at Royal & Derngate, Northampton.

Tristan has written and directed five original family theatre pieces for PTC (Robin Hood, Cinderella, Treasure Island, Myth and Myth II: Heroes and Halfwits), a gig theatre piece co-produced with Royal & Derngate (Song of the Summer), a game theatre comedy inspired by the world of Dungeons & Dragons (Sam & Zoe Vs Evermore) and a film exploring the internet and social media (Do You Accept?), which has been screened to thousands of young people in UK schools, presented with interactive online drama workshops.

Other writing and directing credits include: Story Seekers (Oxford Playhouse), The School of Planet Powers for Extraordinary Children (EA Productions), Cinderella Ice Cream Seller, Jack! and Suddenly a Star (Little Seeds, Story Museum, Oxford), A Home for Harmony and Pete Stays Home (PTC, UK Tours), Mr Stink (Heartbreak Productions, UK Tour) Robin Hood: A Musical Celebration (South Hill Park), The Wind in the Willows (Creation Theatre), The Fourth Dog (Human Story Theatre) and Holmes and Watson: The Farewell Tour (Edinburgh Fringe and UK Tour, David Adkin LTD).
